Feeling a Tad Down

As some of you know, I have went to an anime convention resently which was quite fun. We met a lot of awesome people, and did a bunch of cosplay, con related activities, and bought some awesome suvineres. However, there have been a couple things happening that have brought my spirits down some.

1. CAR TROUBLES

Our battery and starter went out in the car yesterday, as we we on our way back from the convention and stopped in for something to eat. It was fine when we pulled in but, the car refused to start when we were finished. And we were a little over 20 minutes from home. (Driving time length)

Luckily our roommate came to get us after we got a hold of a toe truck through our insurance. Now we are just waiting for it to be fixed. Luckily my mother in law is letting us crash with her tonight so she can give us a ride tomorrow to pick up our car. Also, the mechanic has been nothing but helpful, and has given us as many discounts has he could. For that we are grateful.

2. MY MENTOR KICKED ME OUT

When I first joined VR I joined a mentorship, not because I really needed it but because I figured it was a great way to meet people that shared a similar belief as I did. However, my mentor who was nice, never really liked to talk to me it felt. He would either ignore me completely or just say stuff like "hi how are you?" But never would answer back after. There were a couple other times I asked for some guidance but it never came.

When I got to join my new coven I gained a new family it felt like, and I am so grateful for that. However, that proceeded to show me even more that my mentor didn't really care about me, or so I feel. I was thinking of leaving that mentorship to be honest but, I really wanted to make friends with him. Others who knew him always said he was a great friend and very knowledgable, especially about some Native American ways, which is a firm part of my own belief. So you can see why I wanted to befriend him. I don't know as many who can chat with me about those sacred ways, so I figured that this guy would be the first real one I could converse with on that subject.

Well, a couple minutes ago, I resolved a message that he kicked me out of the mentorship. I don't feel heartbroken like I lost a friend or anything but I do feel kinda down about it. I went to him because I thought he could help guide me, that is what a mentor does, but I feel like I was just an unwelcomed guest there instead.

All in all, these resent couple days, I've went from super excited and happy to moderately happy with feelings of depression creeping in. I keep wondering if I'm just being a baby about all of this, and I just need to suck it up. Oh well. I know my knew coven family won't ever throw me away. At least I can trust in that with a full heart.

Aww sweet heart, I am here for you! I'm sorry to hear that though. You should message the person and ask them why they did it.
